Kelly Alexander is a special education teacher (LBS1) at JTC Academy West for the sensory integration room for Junior High and High School level Students. She has been a member of the JTC team for five years and states that she has thoroughly enjoyed her experience both professionally and personally at the school. She further states, "The administration and staff are supportive and caring individuals who always put the needs of the students first and foremost. The JTC programs provide essential services for the local communities and surrounding areas. It is my privilege as an educator to serve with them and dedicate my career to improving the lives of the special needs population." Ms. Alexander is the sweetest teacher and her students and the staff that work with her adore her! We are truly blessed to have Ms. Alexander at JTC Academy.
Ms. Baker, Lead Special Education Teacher
Ms. Baker has a BA in Elementary Education and is a Learning Behavior Specialist I. She is currently working towards obtaining her MAE from Greenville University and will graduate in December 2022. Ms. Baker has been working in education for 11 years with 2 of those years being special education. She loves to see her students grow and thrive in her classroom. Ms. Baker maintains high standards in her room and pushes her students to achieve and succeed. She enjoys working with all of the students at JTC West.
I am a proud teacher at JTC Academy East providing instruction to high schoolers in multiple subject areas. I have a BA in Psychology, MS in Education and a MS in Professional Counseling. I have worked in education for the past 25 years serving a diverse population of students from elementary school through College. For the past 5 years, it has been a privilege and an honor to teach the wonderful students that attend JTC Academy.
I enjoy serving others through various community service venues including as an officer and board member of the YMCA. I have an awesome family of which I enjoy spending quality time. I also enjoy reading, traveling and sports.
Stacy Frederick-Foster, MS
Ms. Foster has an MS degree in Special Education.
She has been working with the special education population from the local area for 35+ years. She has spent a number of years in the classroom. As the IEP Lead at JTC Academy, Ms. Foster has been able to put her organizational skills to the test as IEP Supervisor for both JTC Academy East and West. She enjoys meeting and working with the parents and guardians, students and special education district representatives as the IEP Lead for JTC Academy. She enjoys interacting with and getting to know all of the students at both JTC sites.
I have been teaching for 14 years, most of which has been in Special Education and alternative educational settings. I have a Bachelor’s in History from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master’s in Education from Lindenwood University. I have been with JTC Academy for four years, and this is the best team I have ever worked with. I enjoy the challenges and relationships that I have developed with the students. I live in St Louis with my wife and four children.
Eric Nesbit, M.Ed
JTC East Lead Teacher
Mr. Nesbit has spent the past thirty years serving students with special needs in a multitude of settings, as an administrator as well as a classroom teacher. Mr. Nesbit earned his Bachelor’s degree in special education from Missouri Valley College and earned his Master’s degree in Secondary School Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) in 1999.
Prior to joining JTC Academy this past school year, Mr. Nesbit had served as an administrator and as a classroom teacher with the Special School District of St. Louis County, serving in the Hazelwood and Rockwood School Districts.
Mr. Nesbit is excited to bring his energy and experiences to JTC Academy and we are grateful to have him on our team!

Hunter Hebron, LBS-1
JTC Curriculum and Instructional Leader
Mr. Hebron is a 3rd year Special Education Teacher teacher at JTC Academy and has an additional responsibility as the Leader of Curriculum and Instruction. He currently holds a license in both Elementary and Special Education from the University of Missouri- St. Louis.
Mr. Hebron is an experienced Elementary and High School Special Education Teacher in all subject areas, crisis prevention, curriculum development, IEP development, and Educational Technology. Mr. Hebron is currently expanding on his professional career and currently working on his Masters of Science in Education Administration -Principal (MSEd) at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.
He is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child.
Mr. Hebron states that his favorite things to do when not working at JTC Academy are drinking copious amounts of coffee, running on grants trail, walking my new-born, beach walking with my wife and dogs, cooking and construction. We are truly blessed to have Hunter Hebron at JTC Academy.
Ms. Wobbe graduated from SIUE in 2011 with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education. She will be starting her 3rd year at JTC Academy and is an excellent addition to our team! Ms. Wobbe will be pursuing her Masters in Educational Administration, no doubt a JTC Academy future leader! Prior to JTC she worked in Belleville working with the RTI Team. Ms. Wobbe states that she enjoys working with the students, staff and parents/guardians of JTC Academy and that seeing our students grow is extremely gratifying.
