Ms. Sumrall has been at JTC Academy now for her 6th school year and serves as an assistant to our Executive Director, Ms. Polt. Ms. Sumrall serves as a key component to everything Ms. Polt does daily from setting up meetings, conferences to ordering uniforms for our students, a "jack of all trades".  You can see Ms. Sumrall working and moving throughout the building at top speed assisting staff and youth.  

Ms. RayChanda Winbush

Ms. Winbush graduated from Lincoln University with a bachelor in Criminal Justice and Associate in Liberal Studies. She was born and raised in East Saint Louis, IL, where she currently resides.  Ms. Winbush states, "I treat others how I would want to be treated."

Londracus Henderson, BS

Londracus Henderson is a Teacher Assistant at JTC Academy West.  He was born and grew up in Washington Park, Illinois. He graduated from Cahokia High School and attended Lindenwood University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Henderson states that he enjoys his position as a teacher's assistant because the position enables him to help students reach their full potential and succeed.

Kendrick Bell, BS

CPI Director and Data Specialist


Mr. Kendrick Bell earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Western Illinois University in 2002. He has been with JTC for over 8 Years and serves as the data and documentation guru. He is the Facilitator of JTC’s School Wide Information System (SWIS), where he monitors and analyzes behavior trends. Mr. Bell is also our CPI Director and fills in as a Licensed Substitute Teacher when needed. Helping students develop self-worth and confidence to be the best versions of themselves is Mr. Bell’s passion. When he is not analyzing data, you’ll find him in his office helping students improve on their literacy skills, training and assisting staff, or helping maintain day to day school operations. He also serves as a coach for JTC’s Varsity Basketball team. Mr. Bell is a Certified Personal Trainer and continues to use his expertise to aid students in reaching their maximum physical potential. His positive and genuine spirit is sought after by students and staff alike! On a personal note, Mr. Bell is a native of Rochester, NY., a proud husband, and an awesome father of 3 beautiful children. Mr. Bell says “Everything starts with a decision and my goal is to inspire and empower students enough that they make good ones”.
