JTC Academy Principals

JTC East Principal

Jamie Critchlow, MA Secondary Administration & Supervision

We are thrilled to have Mr. Critchlow join JTC Academy this school year as a principal at JTC Academy East.  Mr. Critchlow has taught and coached at the collegiate and high school levels for seventeen years with five of those as a principal working with at-risk youth. goals at JTC are to work hand-in-hand with staff and students to ensure our kids are getting the best possible education in a safe and productive environment. I consider working with our students an honor and a privilege and being able to see them grow and develop as people is one of the most gratifying experiences an educator can have. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at JTC this year and I look forward to watching our kids achieve bigger and better goals as the year progresses.

JTC West Principal

Amy Woelfel,  M.Ed Administration

Ms. Woelfel has 20 years of experience in the field of special education in a variety of settings. She began her career

as a middle school teacher’s assistant in the Hazelwood School District. She was hooked from that point forward working in the field of special education. Ms. Woelfel developed a passion and drive to ensure that her students feel safe, listened to and of course receive the best education that she could give to her students.

In 2010 she earned my M. Ed in Educational Administration and she planned to be a principal one day but was in no hurry at that time.  She came to JTC Academy in the 2016-17 school year as a special education teacher. She has successfully taught even the most challenging of students and has also shown that she has the knowledge, skills and drive to be a principal during her years as a special education teacher. Ms. Woelfel began her 4th school year at JTC Academy as a principal at JTC Academy West and we are proud and blessed to have her as part of our administrative team.
